Hi,

sieht so aus, als hätten wir eine jetzt oder nie Gelegenheit, Freifunk
auf 'nem internationalem Kanal bekannt zu machen. Problem ist
natürlich, dass die DW ggf. politisch nicht ganz neutral ist, aber
fair wollen sie sein.

What shall we do? Ich könnte es mir zur Not für Mittwochmittag
einrichten, falls jemand mit längerem Freifunk-Hintergrund und
radikaler Position (Kaleng?!?) das übernehmen will, gerne.
Es müsste natürlich am Anfang des Interviews klar kommuniziert
werden, dass da nur einer von vielen Freifunkern interviewt wird,
der eine persönliche Meinung/Einschätzung vertritt.

Wir könnten z.B. hier eine entsprechende Antwort schreiben,
ich hab nur schonmal angefangen:

Thanks. But if it's not going to be possible before Easter, then I'm afraid
I'll have to draw a line under this. We've put in enough requests now.

I can assure you that a "quick" interview would not be a "bad" interview. I
described it as "quick" simply because you'd told me that you all do this
in your spare time, and I wanted to meet you half way, so to speak -
especially as I suggested doing it during a lunch break (so as not to
interfere with your day job or other commitments).

As for drawing a "good picture" of Freifunk, what do you expect? If it's
free publicity you want, I'm afraid we can't help you there. You'd have to
expect a critical approach, no matter how engaged we may be with your
concept. But the interview would be fair.

Dear Zulfikar,

thank's for the follow up and sorry for the very late reply. It won't be
possible before easter, I'm afraid.
We got a Freifunk meeting next Thursday evening where we would
check who will finally be available for an interview. I'll provide some
feedback ASAP. It's quite important for us that an interview about
Freifunk will draw a good picture, so doing that in form of a
"quick interview" might not be the best option.
